What it is
The Mosra plugin lets ChatGPT work inside your Mosra account. You ask in plain language, ChatGPT finds the right deck, makes small edits and hands you back a link to open in the editor.
It connects ChatGPT to Mosra over HTTPS, signed in as you, with only the permissions you grant. There is nothing to install or run on your computer. It also brings Mosra's design guidance, so ChatGPT plans, lays out and styles a presentation well instead of just filling slides with text.
ChatGPT never sees your Mosra password. It cannot change your account settings, password or payment details, and it cannot delete your account.
Connect ChatGPT to Mosra
From the plugin directory
- In ChatGPT, open the plugin directory and search for Mosra.
- Choose Add. ChatGPT opens a Mosra page asking you to allow access. Sign in to Mosra if asked.
- On the Allow screen, review the permissions. Sensitive ones are switched off by default and you can grant less than ChatGPT asks for. Choose Allow.
- You are sent back to ChatGPT. Ask it something like: Make a 6-slide deck about our Q3 results in Mosra.
As a custom connector
If Mosra does not appear in the directory for your account yet, add it yourself on a plan that allows custom connectors:
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Create and enter the name Mosra and the address https://mcp.mosra.app/mcp/chatgpt (this address is made for ChatGPT).
- Save, then follow the Mosra page that asks you to allow access.
In a Business or Enterprise workspace, an administrator may need to allow custom connectors first. You need a Mosra account to allow access.
Disconnect
Open Mosra, then Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect next to ChatGPT. Access stops immediately. Connecting again means answering the Allow screen again.
What ChatGPT can do
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Decks | List, create (slides or cards; 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 1:1), rename, duplicate, move, trash and restore. |
| Slides | Read the outline, read or replace a slide, add text and images, change one shape, reorder, speaker notes, background, animation, motion paths and transitions. |
| Design | Shape catalog, brand kit and fonts, layout guidance. |
| Interactive and quizzes | Click-to-reveal answers, flip cards, tabs and hotspots; graded questions (multiple choice, true/false, short answer and more) made by copying a template's sample question slide and setting the right answers, points and attempts; simple games built from a game-like template or step by step. It cannot play a deck for you: open it in the editor to try it. |
| Templates | Start from one of Mosra's ready-made templates (business decks, lessons, worksheets, certificates, invitations, card decks). ChatGPT offers a few that fit, or picks the best one, and writes your content into it. You can also submit your own deck to the community template gallery; ChatGPT asks first, and a moderator reviews it before anyone else sees it. |
| Media | Upload an image from a link, search stock photos, manage your library. |
| Sharing | Visibility, link access, collaborators and comments (read, add, reply, resolve). |
| Export | Share, present and embed links; video and LMS packages where they are enabled for your account. |
| Account | Your plan, credit balance and notifications (read only). |
What it does not do: ChatGPT cannot change your plan or billing, change your account settings or password, or delete your account. Do those in Mosra yourself.
Example prompts
Say what you want the way you would to a colleague. Some that work well:
- Make a 6-slide deck about our Q3 results in Mosra. Title slide, three key numbers, what went well, what did not, next steps.
- Open my Q3 business review deck and shorten the text on the metrics slide so it reads from the back of a room.
- Apply my brand colours and fonts to the Sales kickoff deck.
- List the unresolved comments on my Product roadmap deck and draft a reply to each question.
- Start a card deck for new-hire onboarding from one of Mosra's templates.
- Turn the notes in my Photosynthesis deck into a 10-question multiple-choice quiz.
- Make a click-to-reveal flashcard slide for each of these five terms.
- Give me a share link for the Q3 review deck, viewable by anyone with the link.
ChatGPT asks before anything destructive and before changing who can see a deck.
Permissions
The Allow screen lists what ChatGPT asks for. You can grant less; ChatGPT then works with what it has and tells you when something needs a permission you did not give.
| Permission | Lets ChatGPT |
|---|---|
| Read your decks | See your presentations, slides, comments and outlines. |
| Edit your decks | Create, change and delete slides and presentations. Deleted decks go to the trash. |
| Add media | Upload images and other files to your library. |
| Read workspaces | See your workspaces, folders, teams and brand kits. |
| Manage workspaces | Create folders and change workspace and sharing settings. |
| Read your account | See your name, plan and credit balance. |
Safety and your data
- You are in control. Every grant can be revoked in Settings, Connected apps, and revoking takes effect immediately.
- Access tokens are stored hashed, expire after one hour and are refreshed automatically while the connection is active.
- Mosra records that a tool ran (its name, the time, the deck it concerned and whether it succeeded). It does not store the content ChatGPT sent or received through the plugin.
- Deleting a deck moves it to the trash, where you can restore it. Actions that delete, change who can see a deck or publish one to the community gallery are marked so ChatGPT asks you first.
What ChatGPT reads from Mosra becomes part of your conversation with ChatGPT and is handled under OpenAI's terms and privacy policy. Mosra's own Privacy Policy and Terms apply to your account and your content.
Troubleshooting
ChatGPT says it cannot reach Mosra, or asks me to sign in again
Remove Mosra in ChatGPT, add it again and answer the Allow screen. If you disconnected ChatGPT in Connected apps, this is also how you reconnect.
ChatGPT does not use Mosra for my request
Say it in the request: Using Mosra, make a 6-slide deck about our Q3 results. Make sure Mosra is switched on for the conversation.
The slides look plain
Mosra's design guidance comes with the plugin and ChatGPT normally reads it first. If it did not, ask: Call get_design_playbook with name mosra-presentation-studio and follow it.
Deck not found
ChatGPT can only see decks you can open in Mosra, and only if you allowed it to read them. Ask it to list your decks, check the name, and make sure the Read your decks permission is granted. A deck in the trash has to be restored first.
The deck changed while ChatGPT was editing
If you or a collaborator edit the same slide at the same moment, ChatGPT re-reads the deck and applies its change again. Ask it to try once more if it stops.
A permission is missing
If you left a permission off, ChatGPT will say what it could not do. Disconnect ChatGPT in Connected apps and connect again to grant it.
Support
Write to support@mosra.app with what you asked ChatGPT to do and what happened. Do not send your password or access tokens; we never need them.
