1. Acceptance
These Terms form an agreement between you and {{LEGAL_NAME}} ("Mosra", "we", "us") covering the Mosra app, mosra.app, the desktop application and every related service (together, the "Service").
You accept these Terms when you create an account, sign in, or otherwise use the Service. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
If you accept on behalf of an organisation — a school, a company — you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” in this document includes that organisation.
2. The Service
Mosra is a tool for building presentations and interactive assessments: author content, put graded questions on slides, present live to learners, and export to PPTX, PDF, HTML5, SCORM, xAPI or cmi5.
We may add, change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces the value of a paid plan you are on, we will tell you by email or in-app notice first.
Some features may be marked beta or experimental. Those are provided as-is, may change or stop at any time, and should not be relied on for work you cannot redo.
3. Accounts and age
You need an account for most of the Service. Registration details must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account.
Mosra accounts are for people aged 16 and over. Anyone under 16 may not create an account.
Students under 16 can still join a presentation or quiz run by their teacher without an account — see section 8 for who is responsible in that case.
If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, tell us at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} straight away.
4. Your content
The lessons, questions, images, video and everything else you upload or create in Mosra remain yours. We claim no ownership.
To run the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display, transmit and process that content — only as far as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you share with. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies still held in backups for the retention period set out in the Privacy Policy.
We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it to anyone.
You are responsible for what you upload: you must have the right to use it, and it must not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Acceptable use
When using Mosra, you must not:
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, or invades someone's privacy.
- Upload sexual, violent, hateful content, or anything harmful to children.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or to run scams.
- Attempt to access systems, other people's accounts, or data that is not yours.
- Probe, overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
- Copy, reverse-engineer or extract our software beyond what the law allows.
- Resell, sublicense or share your account outside the plan you bought.
- Use automation to create accounts or consume AI resources beyond normal use.
We may remove infringing content and suspend the account behind it. For serious or repeated breaches we may terminate the account.
6. AI features
Mosra includes features powered by artificial intelligence: generating lessons and questions, rewriting content, suggesting layouts, and the in-editor assistant.
When you use them, the relevant content — your request plus whatever context is needed to produce a result — is sent to third-party model providers. The current list is on the Sub-processors page. If you would rather your content were not sent, do not use the AI features.
AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Check it before using it to teach, assess or publish. We make no warranty about the accuracy of AI output.
AI credits
AI actions consume credits from your account wallet. Credits are granted by plan, refilled each billing cycle, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Unused credits do not roll over unless the plan says otherwise.
7. Plans and payment
Mosra has a free plan and paid plans. What each includes, and its price, is shown on the Pricing page at the time you buy.
Payments are handled by third-party processors (Stripe, MoMo, SePay or a regional equivalent). We never store your card number.
Paid plans renew automatically for the cycle you chose unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current cycle; you keep access until then.
Refunds: you may request a refund within {{REFUND_WINDOW}} of the first payment on a plan, provided you have not substantially used that cycle's AI credits. Send requests to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}.
We may change prices. A price change applies from the next cycle only, with at least 30 days' notice by email.
If a payment fails we may retry it and restrict paid features after the grace period shown in the app.
8. Classes and student data
When you use Mosra to teach — inviting students to a class, running an assessment, reading result reports — you (or your school) are the controller of your students' personal data. Mosra processes that data on your instructions, as a processor.
In practice that means you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect student data, including obtaining parental or guardian permission where the law requires it.
The processing terms for schools and companies are in our Data Processing Addendum. If your organisation needs a signed DPA, contact us.
We recommend telling students to use a nickname rather than their real name when joining a public session.
9. Third-party services
Mosra integrates with and depends on third-party services: file storage, email delivery, payments, AI models, Google sign-in. The full list is on the Sub-processors page.
When you connect Mosra to an external service — your school's LMS, for example — that service's own terms govern their side. We are not responsible for how third-party services behave.
10. Our intellectual property
Mosra's software, interface, brand, designs and template library belong to us or to our licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.
What you create from our templates is yours; the templates themselves are not. You may not extract them to resell or distribute as a product of their own.
Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used to improve the product, with no obligation on our side.
11. Availability
We work to keep the Service running but do not commit to a specific uptime level unless separately agreed in writing.
The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or by events outside our control. We will give notice of planned maintenance where practical.
For work that matters, export and keep your own copy. Mosra exports to PPTX, PDF, HTML5, SCORM and xAPI precisely so you are not locked into one system.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Mosra at any time and delete your account from account settings. After deletion your data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that puts the system or other users at risk, or where the law requires it.
Except for serious breaches or where the law forbids it, we will give notice and a chance to export your data first.
If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused portion of any prepaid fees.
13. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your particular purpose.
Nothing here removes consumer rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded by agreement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or, if you are on a free plan, an amount equal to the reasonable costs you incurred.
These limits do not apply to wilful misconduct, fraud, or anything the law does not permit us to limit.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version and effective date are always shown at the top of this page.
For changes that materially increase your obligations or reduce your rights, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app, and ask you to accept again where needed. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by {{GOVERNING_LAW}}.
We would rather sort problems out by talking. Contact us before starting proceedings — most things are resolved within a few working days.
